1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we collect

  • Data you give us: name, email, phone and your message, when you fill in the contact form or request an estimate.
  • Intermediation service data: if you go ahead with us, the data needed to assess your credit profile (income, commitments, etc.), always with your knowledge.
  • Technical data: information collected by cookies when you visit the site (see the Cookie Policy).

3. What we use your data for

  • To reply to your contact and estimate requests.
  • To provide the credit intermediation service you ask us for.
  • To comply with legal obligations we are subject to (in particular towards Banco de Portugal).
  • With your consent, to send you communications and tips (you can unsubscribe at any time).

4. On what basis (legal basis)

We process your data on the basis of your consent (forms and newsletter), the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (intermediation service) and compliance with legal obligations.

5. For how long

We keep your data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or for the periods the law requires us to. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Who we share it with

We only share your data when needed to provide the service, namely with the lenders (banks) to assess credit offers, always with your knowledge, or when the law requires it. We do not sell your data to anyone.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, as well as to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to info@gurupoupanca.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).

8. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
